School Clubs
|
Because developing the gifts and talents of each individual is important to us, we try to encourage parents to
join us in organizing school clubs. |
After school clubs include:
Drama - Fridays
Juggling - Mondays
Rock Climbing - Starting
again soon!
The after school Mountain
Bike Club is open to
bikers of any level in grades 6-8. For more info, contact Mr. Andrew or Mr. Hughes.
Girls' Club meets during school every Friday from 12:00-1:00.
We eat lunch together, talk about problem solvling "girl issues & friendships", then we do a craft
together. The friendship group was started to help build community amoungst ourselves. We have come up with the
four C's of friendship:1. communication 2. cooperation 3. courteous 4. care. There are twelve girls (including
Mrs. Driver) ranging in grades 1st - 6th. Some of the crafts that we have done together are: pottery, tissue paper
"stained glass", paper dolls, jewelry, and friendship braclets.
In the past, we have also offered:
knitting class
tech/computer club
guitar/praise & worship band
practice
Christie's Art Classes
With plenty of parental involvement, we hope to offer an interesting variety this year as well. |
